THE USS EMMONS FOUND AFTER 56 YEARS
IN FEBUARY OF 2001 THANKS TO THE HARD WORK OF MR RICH RUTH AND THE FATHUMS DIVE TEAM THE USS EMMONS HAS BEEN FOUND. AFTER HEARING THE NEWS MY MOTHER AND I CONTACTED MR RUTH AND HE AGRRED TO ATTACH A BRONZE PLAQUE WE PROVIDED HIM. NOW AFTER 56 YEARS OUR LOVED ONE ENS GEORGE L. THEISS JR IS AT REST. HE AND HIS GALIANT SHIP HAVE THEIR MARKER AND THROUGH MR RUTHS VIDEOS AND PHOTOS WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PAY OUR REPECTS. THIS HAS BEEN A LIFETIME DREAM COME TRUE. RICH IF YOU ARE OUT THERE, "THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE" |
